The Fission Duo is comprised of two truncated, basin-like ellipses separating from each other, the way one cell becomes two during the process of mitosis. Designed as a modern centerpiece, this coffee table brings a warm, organic touch to any modern space. The piece features 43 sections of CNC fabricated Baltic Birch Plywood and 2 oval shaped glass inserts which sit inset in the top of the table.
The Fission Duo parametric side table is also available in a larger, ‘3 cell’ format called the Fission Tres. The Fission Table is finished with a commercial grade satin interior finish and is available in many different colors - both stained wood and solid paints.
