The Orbitalis Table is composed of a series of ‘globs’ attracted together to each other. Geometric, 'algorithmic' modeling methods afford a great number of design possibilities based off patterns found in nature. In the case of this piece, that pattern would be gravity itself - each sphere representing and visualizing what the invisible force would look and behave like it we were able to see it.
Made up of 80 sections of Baltic Birch Plywood, this table comes in two sizes – Classic and Mini. An inner system of steel rod support ensures stability for both table sizes. The Orbitalis Table is finished with a high quality satin lacquer and is available in many different colors - both stained wood and solid paints.
